• Arrange if possible to meet owner’s skippers before sailing.
• If you are travelling abroad make sure all documents are valid.
• Always leave a passage plan with someone-including boats name, marina where she is located and departure and expected arrival times and boat owner information.
• Before departure make sure you are clear on any financial contributions expected- if any!
• Please know your sailing limitations and abilities.
• Ask if there are life jackets for you on board or you are to bring one- especially on race days.
• If you have a change of plan, let the skipper know as soon as possible.
• Have fun- post your photos on the site on return!
